Homework Policy
Make it a FAMILY responsibility to get
homework done Daily

This year I will be focusing on teaching your child responsibility and independence. Your child will be responsible for recording daily assignments into a planner provided by the school. We write in the planner every morning. Homework is assigned every day to strengthen the skills taught in class. Please check  and help correct your child’s planner and homework daily for completion, correctness, and neatness. Students who do not complete homework will have to complete it during recess so that he/she does not miss out on review.

reading is important!
PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD READ DAILY

The first priority is that your child reads for a minimum of 20 minutes each day.  You can ask your child to retell the story to you, read the story out loud to work on fluency, or ask questions about the characters, setting, or plot.
