I have a son, Carter, who is two years old, and a daughter, Addison, who was born last November.

I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education, a minor in Spanish, and a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
I spent a semester studying abroad in Granada, Spain, where I attended Cegri- International Centre of Higher Learning, and lived with a host family.
My two favorite places are The University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and Disney World!
I love going to the beach. In 2014, I married my husband, Kevin, on one!
I am a Chicago Cubs fan (my dog is named after Wrigley Field where the Cubs play).
This will be my 14th year teaching at Shirakawa School.
I have two sisters. Nikki is a CPA, and Shelly is a NICU nurse.
